Finders Flea Market 2

Image
Last month, we spent some time out at Finders Flea Market on the grounds of Richland Community College (Progress City USA). Here is the link to those pics: http://picturedecatur.blogspot.com/2015/05/finders-flea-market.html We were there today also and took some more photos at this great (growing) event. It returns in September (after the hot weather and after the Farm Progress Show).  Make plans to attend -- admission is free on Saturdays.

Fathers Day Weekend

Image
To all the Decatur dads, granddads, and others with any type of a fatherly influence role, have a very special and blessed Fathers Day. Never underestimate the critically important role you play in the lives of those you father. " Dad sets the tone for the family. He is the spiritual head of the family, setting the values that the family will live by. His sons will learn what it is to be a man from him. Likewise, his daughters will learn what to expect from the men that come into their lives. It is a dad's love, nurture and leadership that guides a family through the sometimes rocky waters of culture that seeks to tear down the role of the father in the home."
